Our Location

Welcome to Whitehorse, Yukon, on the territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch’än Council.

The Conference will be held in Whitehorse, Yukon on the territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta'an Kwäch’än Council. We invite our guests to learn more about this land and the people who call it home, while visiting with us. Our venue is a great place to start, with artistry, photography, and information displayed throughout.

Our Venue

The Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre (KDCC) is situated on the banks of the Chu Nínkwän in downtown Whitehorse. This beautiful location will hold our conversations about Indigenous Conservation Economies, as we gather in large and small groups throughout our time together.

The KDCC is centrally located, in walking distance to plenty of restaurants, hotels, and attractions. Parking is available on site as well as along adjacent roads.

Accommodations

We have room blocks set aside at both the Sternwheeler Hotel and Yukon Inn for the duration of the Conference. Once your conference reservation is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with further information about room reservations, should you decide to stay with one of these hotels. Please reserve your room by December 31, 2025 to ensure there is space.
